Would an E-Health awareness week work for Australia??

Good question! I have no idea-but it would need to be advertised and promoted a lot more than the actual program is currently being! We still have the case that barely anyone knows about the program and it has no been taken up to the degree that we would like. I believe that educational programs need to implemented that encourage helthcare providers to train their staff about how to promote the benefits of ehealth to their patients (not in a forceful way), and hopefully increase the level of uptake of PCEHR. I believe an ehealth week would be a great forum for Australian pharmacists, doctors and other health professionals to share ideas and understand how promoting ehealth to their patients can be beneficial to them and how the collaboration between them can help ehealth change the landscape of healthcare in Australia.
I know! It’s like E-Health is a big secret at the moment! In my opinion, anything that can be done to increase awareness would help! Even just providing information to healthcare professionals so that they can promote E-Health to patients. An E-Health awareness week might not be a bad idea.
